Ever longed for a thunderstorm?
At the time I created this painting, I connected with Munch’s The Scream in a way I never had before. I resonated with its energy, its chaos—the rush, the storm, the raging thunder. When I looked at the painting, it felt like I understood it more deeply than ever before, and in turn, I felt more understood in my own state. And so, there she was.

She’s burning.
Shining and aching.
Up in flames.
To ashes.
To light.

Are we all moths?
Or are we just looking down?
