Inspired by a dear childhood friend expecting her first child. Sharing this moment with her meant a great deal to me, and I wanted to create something that said: you've got this, you're supported, you're loved and you’re held.

I believe pregnancy and parenthood aren’t meant to be carried alone. We all need a village, and every expecting parent especially, deserves the sense of support surrounding them. Which seems a sharp contrast to a lot of the world right now.

As I was working on it, I liked keeping it close and taking it with me on the go. Working on it wherever I was or in between moments. A small token of love. Celebrating friendship and the beginning of motherhood.
